Coopers' Park
About the Park
Bordering False Creek, the winding paths and numerous benches of Coopers’ Park are all excellent places to enjoy the expansive views. The site of Sweeney Cooperage and Sawmill until 1981, the site now contains a playground and skate park (added in 2003) tucked under the Cambie Street Bridge, as well as plenty of open lawn and colourful plantings.

Coopers’ Park playground and sport court are closed while we complete construction work on the Cambie St. Bridge.

The sport court is anticipated to reopen in spring 2028, once bridge construction is complete. The playground will remain closed to accommodate improvement work as part of the Coopers’ Park renewal project. Learn more at vancouver.ca/coopers-park
