About the Park
The park features a fountain, stream, benches and plantings, in addition to an off-leash dog park, children's playground, seating areas, and an open lawn space surrounded by an oval pedestrian path.
The entry plaza at Davie and Seymour Streets provides a social gathering place for downtown residents. This area of the park is defined by a pedestrian gateway framed by trees, shrubs, benches, trellises, and chess board tables.
The renewed and new dog off-leash areas at Emery Barnes Park was completed July 2025. Improvements include one off-leash area for all dogs and a small off-leash space for small and/or shy dogs.
the park is wheelchair-accessible
