Gordon Dick turned to art making at a young age, learning formline from his uncle when he was 13 years old. Since then, he has also incorporated Coast Salish design into his many commissioned artworks. He has created work in numerous media including jewelry, tattoos, murals, and logos.  

Gordon also works with the North Vancouver School District, teaching traditional art to elementary and high school students. This is his first commission for the City of Vancouver.
