About the Park
Bates Park is tucked into the northeast corner of the city, where the Second Narrows Bridge can be glimpsed through a tangle of native trees. Summer is an especially nice time to visit this tiny park, when dragonflies hover over the wildflowers and golden grasses that lead down to a portion of the Trans-Canada Trail.
