Senft has been a practicing sculptor since 1972 when he graduated with honours from the Vancouver School of Art. He has done numerous public commissions in Canada and internationally. Since 1990 Senft has been designing and fabricating welded steel furniture and architectural elements and accessories. He teaches sculpture at North island College in Courtenay, BC and lives and works in Cumberland.
