Jason Nielsen is an award winning filmmaker whose short films have screened at festivals around the world. His genre-spanning work couples a heightened visual realism with emotional themes, resulting in meditative reflections on the idea of the self. Nielsen’s work is in the collection of the National Library and Archives of Canada and The Douglas Archer Library at the University of Regina. Nielsen studied film production at The University of Regina and photography at Langara College in Vancouver.
