Henrik Håkansson (born in Helsingborg,1968) lives and works in Berlin, Germany and Falkenberg; Sweden, and has been exhibiting internationally since 1993. In addition to group shows such as: Field works” at Centro Cultural La Moneda, Santiago, Chile, 2022,  A Tree Story’, Monash University Museum of Art – MUMA, Melbourne, Australia (2021) Göteborgs Konsthall (2019), Cloister of Bramante (Rome, 2018), Kunstpalais Erlangen (2015), Isabelle Stewart Gardner Museum (Boston, 2012),  ‘Universal Code’, The Power Plant, Toronto  Canada (2009),, ‘Mirror’s Edge’,BildMuseet, Sweden/ Vancouver Art Gallery, Canada/ Museo d’Arte Contemporanea Castello di Rivoli, Torino, Italy/ Tramway, Glasgow, UK/  and Kunsthalle Wien (1998), Håkansson’s works have frequently been shown at festivals and biennales such as Biennale Gherdëina 7, IHME Festival Helsinki, Taipei Biennial, Emscherkunst, Sydney Biennale, documenta 13, Yokohama Triennale, Biennale d’Art Contemporain de Lyon, Berlin Biennale, Skulptur Biennale Münster and Biennale di Venezia where he also represented Sweden in 1997. His works are part of many private and public collections such as those of Klasma - Museum of Contemporary Art, FRAC - Languedoc-Roussion, Musée Départemental d’Art Contemporain de Rocheechouart, GAM, Moma, Moderna Museet and Fondazione Morra Greco.
