Description of work
Two figures with shields and two eagles stand on a small plaza with a wall behind and three stairs in front. A relief of Harding's profile is in the centre of the wall. The piece commemorates Harding's 1923 visit to Vancouver, the first US president to visit Canada. He died on his return to the U.S.
