This work was conceived for a pedestrian experience of the landscape and makes reference to the visible landscape of the city: the mountains of the north shore. The imagery was derived from the topography of the coast of British Columbia using geo-positioning computer software. The resulting image of the work was refined by hand drawing, further computer work as well as computer directed plasma cutting and then fabricated-assembled by hand.
